As our largest fundraising event of the year, the Step Up Walk provides a large percentage of the support needed for programs and resources for the DSACF to fulfill its mission throughout the year.

And BONUS, you’ll earn prizes along the way!

6 Easy Ways to Fundraise for Your Team

1. Play BINGO

Ask your supporters to help you fill up this BINGO card by making donations. When your card is filled, your team has raised $410!

2. Sponsor Me! Team Shirts

Is your team creating shirts to wear at the walk? Ask local businesses you frequent to sponsor your team and you can add their logo to the back of your shirt! DSACF will honor sponsorship benefits to corporations and credit the funds to your team!

3. Give Me A %

Restaurants will help nonprofits raise funds by hosting a dinner where 10-30% of the night's proceeds are donated to you cause. In turn, the nonprofit must help drive business to their establishment that night. DSACF will SET THIS UP for you!
Contact Amy Drow, adrow@dsacf.org if you are interested in setting up a give back night.

4. Hold an Event

Great examples are: car washes, bake sales, Dress Down for Down Syndrome Days, "End the R Word" campaign, etc.

5. Matching Gifts

Find out if your company has a matching gifts program. They are a quick and easy way to double or triple your donation. Encourage your donors and team members to check into their companies' policy as well.

6. Get Creative

Stay quiet for an entire day to raise money, ask your boss to dress silly and wash cars during lunch for donations, wear funky costumes for funds!
Shoe Fundraiser! - Raise $500 in 30 donations. Every donation is between $5 & $25!
